The ORION Laser Enhanced Training System (L.E.T.S) is a versatile training solution suitable for a wide range of sectors and institutions, including law enforcement agencies, the military, special operations units, private security firms, entertainment industry, and specialized training centers.
The system offers adaptability to accommodate various weapon types and calibers, spanning from small pistol calibers to automatic weapons and sniper rifles. It can be integrated into machine guns, vehicle-mounted weapons, tanks, and different types of anti-tank (AT) systems. Additionally, it supports various types of ammunition, including armor-piercing (AP) rounds, high-explosive (HE) and high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) shells for tanks and AT systems, as well as fragmented ordnance.
Every participant or unit is equipped with IR Receiving Gear and an IR transmitter, in addition to any other required devices. Inter-unit communication is facilitated through their individual devices, enabling regular transmissions of updates to the headquarters. These updates commonly encompass the unit’s status, health condition (damage), and, if available, their location.
The exercise monitoring system (E.M.S) visually presents real-time actions on a computer connected to the Central Hub Device (C.H.D). The C.H.D receives and processes incoming exercise data via a USB connection, which is then parsed by the accompanying software. The software provides supervisors and individuals in charge with real-time readings from the exercise ground. Furthermore, these readings can be stored for later review and analysis during the After Action Review (A.A.R) phase.
